The posts on this website will be of two distinct types, firstly those that follow William’s life, categorised as ‘William’s timeline’, which will be numbered and have an opening thus: ‘This is the —– posting on the timeline of William’s life’ and secondly those categorised as ‘Special topics’ such as:

  • William Hall Burnett and The Miners champion – Joseph Shepherd (An account of William’s attempt to increase the sales of his newspapers in North Yorkshire)
